Free Printable Donut Ten Frames

February 18, 2018

These Free Printable Donut Ten Frames are a fun math center for kids to work on counting, one to one correspondence, and even decomposing numbers.

We’ve been working hard practicing with our ten frames for the last couple of weeks. We have also been doing an author study of Laura Numeroff and reading some of her books. I thought it was fitting to break out the donut mini erasers and use them to work with our ten frames with these Free Printable Donut Ten Frames.

I found the donuts at Target in the Dollar Spot about a year ago or so. It seems they are starting to rotate them back around since they have dinosaurs and monsters that I’ve seen before out right now so just keep an eye out! 🙂

Today's read-aloud is Apple Pie 4th Of July. In this book, a young girl is embarrassed by her parents cooking Chinese food at their convenience store on Independence Day, She is then surprised when they get numerous customers coming in to get Chinese food. It’s a great message about what it is to be American and embracing your family’s heritage and customs.🇺🇸Come and see the snack idea and grab the printable to go along with the book here primaryplayground.net/literacy-snack-4th-of-july-read-aloud/ ...
