Did you watch the launch attempt for the Demo-2 mission on Wednesday? My kids and I watched the entire thing and had our fingers crossed just like everyone else in the world that the weather would clear but to no avail. But in the time watching, we learned SO MUCH! There will definitely be some AMAZING things happening in the next 10 years.
What really stuck with me was when the director of NASA and Elon Musk spoke about really inspiring the future generation of astronauts. And as I sat there watching the live stream on Facebook, I just recall seeing how many people commenting on how they were watching with their little ones at home, kids and grandkids, and just how excited they were.
Since the launch was scrubbed on Wednesday, it got me thinking for Saturday. We need a way for these kids to celebrate while watching the launch, so I made Free Printable Future Astronaut Hat.

Free Printable Future Astronaut Hat
To make the hat, simply download it below. You will need crayons, scissors, and a stapler or tape to put it together.
Have the little ones color the hat and cut it out. Attach the back strap to the front of the hat using tape or a stapler. If it is too small for your child’s head, simply print out an extra back strap and attach them together to make it longer.
