These no-prep fall CVC words mystery puzzles are a fun, hands-on way to practice middle sounds and practice word work.

These mystery puzzles are a fun and engaging addition to your literacy center rotation, can be used in small groups, or can be sent home to play with family members. You can easily differentiate the puzzles too!

The students will match the puzzle piece CVC words to the matching CVC word picture to solve the mystery picture. A black and white copy can also be given to each student to color, and then cut and glue onto the matching CVC word picture to create the puzzle picture.

These CVC Word Family hats are a fun way to introduce or review CVC word families. The students will get to cut and glue 4 circles in the word family on the front of the hat. On the back strip of the hat, they will practice writing the 4 words from the word family.

Here’s what’s included:

There are 22 different hats included. Each word family comes with a front of the hat and a back strap that can be stapled together. You can add an additional strip to the back if the hat needs to be made larger to hit the child’s head.
