These no-prep Christmas beginning sounds mystery puzzles are a fun, hands-on way to practice initial sounds and build letter and sound recognition.

These mystery puzzles are a fun and engaging addition to your literacy center rotation and can be used in small groups or can be sent home to play with family members. You can easily differentiate the puzzles too!

The students will match the puzzle piece letters to the matching beginning sound to solve the mystery picture. A black and white copy can also be given to each student to color, and then cut and glue onto the matching beginning sound picture to create the puzzle picture.

What’s included:

10 mystery puzzles All of the mystery puzzles are Christmas-themed.

Comes in both color and black-and-white printing options

If you use it as a center, laminating is suggested for longer use.
