This no-prep class Mother’s Day cookbook is a great way to build community in your classroom and turns into a great holiday gift to send home to your students and families. It works great as a May family project for your classroom.

There are 2 cover page options. One that says Our Class Mother’s Day Cookbook and one that says Our Class Cookbook so it can be used any time of the year.

There are several different page options to send home with your students to create your class cookbook. Choose which fits your class the best. I’ve included each page in a lined version along with a handwriting-lined version.

After the recipes have been returned from the students, make copies and help the students create a book of their own to take home and share with their families. It makes a great gift for Mother’s Day.

If your school allows food, another extension activity would be to have the families make their favorite recipe with their child and send them in so everyone can try each other’s favorite food.
