Easter Color By Code CVC Words

These color by code CVC word pages are a fun and engaging way to practice CVC words. They work great as morning work, small groups, individual work, centers, word work, and homework.

Included are 5 different Easter (non-religious) themed pictures for the students to color in by CVC word. There are 5 pages of each middle sound, a, e, i, o, u, and another 5 pages that are mixed. The student will look at the picture and find the corresponding word to color in. You can easily differentiate the pages for the students.

Today's literacy snack read-aloud is Hey, Little Ant. What would you do if the ant you were about to step on looked up and started talking? Would you stop and listen? What if your friends saw you hesitate? That’s what happens in this funny, thought-provoking book. Originally a song by a father-daughter team, this conversation between two creatures, large and small, is bound to inspire important discussions. It might even answer that classic childhood question: To squish or not to squish?Come and see the snack idea and grab the printable to go along with the book here primaryplayground.net/literacy-snack-idea-ants-free-printable/ ...
