These counting mats are a fun hands-on way to practice numbers. The students will help gather the correct number of rain drops. They can then practice writing the number. Laminate the pages so they can be reused over and over with a dry erase marker.

These work great for math centers and during small groups.

We use blue glass beads found at Dollar Tree, play dough, and colored puff balls from the craft section. For the smaller cards we use our mini erasers. I have also included a page of rain drop pieces both in color and black and white in case you’d like to use those.
