This watermelon ending sounds match is a fun way to incorporate many different learning standards. The intention of this resource is to provide a hands-on learning experience for the students. I have created a DIY garden for the classroom that this resource is intended to be used in. The center is also versatile that you don’t “need” to make the garden if you choose not to.

In this center, the students will “pick” the watermelon to match the correct ending sound on the watermelon the boy is holding. There are 2 recording sheets included to keep the students accountable for their center time.
