These color by codes are always such a fun way to reinforce those sight words with your little learners. This Free Printable Earth Day Color By Code is an activity that can be used in a variety of ways. Color by code sight words works well for morning work, early finishers,  literacy centers or homework. It’s a great way to reinforce the sight words they’ve learned at school and for them to practice them at home again easily.

The first time the students do this activity, encourage them to color the crayons first so they can easily see which color the sight word needs to be.

To do the color by code sight words, the students will carefully color the picture one area at a time using the matching color for the sight words. The students will continue coloring the sight words until the entire picture has been completed. They will then be able to see their hidden picture!
