Student Moving Away Gift Idea

February 11, 2019

Student Moving Away Gift Idea

Have you ever had a student move away during the school year? We become so close to our students, it’s a sad day for both us and the students in the class when a classmate moves away. To make it a bit easier, here’s a student moving away gift idea for you!

I made this fun free printable to help send your student on their way to their next adventure with a special gift from their class.

Student Moving Away Gift Idea

Instructions

Simply print the free printable at the bottom of the post. You’ll need a variety of paint colors or ink pads to have each of the students in the class use a finger to make the balloons on the printable. Wait for it to dry, pop it into a frame and your gift is ready!

You could also have all of the classmates sign their name on the paper, or you could write each one of their names in a balloon.

This would make a fantastic gift to give to your student teacher as well. Sending them onto their next adventure! If you’re looking for more student-teacher gift ideas, here’s 20 more.

You can download the free printable below.

See you next time!

Today's literacy snack read-aloud is Hey, Little Ant. What would you do if the ant you were about to step on looked up and started talking? Would you stop and listen? What if your friends saw you hesitate? That’s what happens in this funny, thought-provoking book. Originally a song by a father-daughter team, this conversation between two creatures, large and small, is bound to inspire important discussions. It might even answer that classic childhood question: To squish or not to squish?Come and see the snack idea and grab the printable to go along with the book here primaryplayground.net/literacy-snack-idea-ants-free-printable/ ...
