Are you excited about the upcoming Summer Olympics?! I’m not much of a tv watcher, but when the Olympics are on that’s a different story! So to help celebrate, I made a Fre Summer Sports Word Search.

I love watching all of the amazing athletes and learning about them and their road to get there. It’s always so inspiring!

To start off, I wanted to share a fun scavenger hunt for your kids! This one will be great to use over a course of the Olympics and a great to get your little learners talking about the different summer sports that are played.

To help our little learners get familiar with the sports and vocabulary that are part of the Summer Olympics I have a couple of videos I like to use.

This is a simple video that goes over a lot of the sports that are played during the games and their names. It’s a great vocabulary-building video.

I made this Summer Sports word Search to go over some of the games that will be played. You could even send it home for the students to work on while watching the Opening Ceremonies and have them bring it back for a special treat.
