Winter Sports Free Printable Word Search
With the Winter Olympics quickly approaching, I wanted to create a winter sports free printable word search to get us ready.
I don’t know about you but I LOVE the Olympics! I love watching all of the amazing athletes and learning about them and their road to get there. It’s always so inspiring!
To get us excited about the Winter Olympics, I printed out a bunch of flags from different countries that will be participating. I had the students color them and we’ll be hanging them up in the classroom.
My goal is to also keep track of the medal counts for the top few countries with the class this year during our morning meeting to keep them engaged.
I created a winter sports word search to introduce some of the games that some of the students may not have heard of or seen before. You could even send it home for the students to work on while watching the Opening Ceremonies and have them bring it back for a special treat.
