March 4, 2018

Living in Arizona, we don’t have too many indoor recess days. Ours more or less are a handful of rainy days throughout the school year and at the beginning of the school year, when the temperature is too high outside that we are required to keep the kids inside. I’m always looking for new and fun ideas to have ready to go when these days do arise.  I’m sharing 20 indoor recess ideas.

Indoor recess can be challnging. Here are 20 indoor recess ideas to help you keep your little leaerners engaged and entertained.

Today's read-aloud is Just Like Abraham Lincoln. It is a well-woven story about ordinary people who find themselves brought together by a common interest. It describes some of Lincoln’s good qualities and what he may have been like. The book is a great introduction to history and unlikely friendships.Come and see the fun snack idea and grab the printable to go along with the book here primaryplayground.net/abraham-lincoln-read-aloud/ ...
